Professor Sir Chris Ham speaks at Health and Social Care Committee

Professor Sir Chris Ham at the Health and Social Care CommitteeLast week (Tuesday, April 23) Professor Sir Chris Ham, Independent Chair of Better Health, Better Care, Better Value, was invited to give evidence at the Health and Social Care Committee in Parliament.

Professor Sir Chris Ham was part of an expert panel giving feedback on proposals for legislative changes that are needed to deliver the NHS Long Term Plan.

He reflected on his vast knowledge of health and social care systems across the country as well as his experiences of working in Coventry and Warwickshire.

On Thursday (April 26) Professor Sir Chris Ham was in the London to co-chair the inaugural meeting of NHS Assembly. The NHS Assembly brings together a range of individuals from across the health and care sectors at regular intervals to advise the joint boards of NHS England and NHS Improvement on delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan (LTP).
